Winter Skiing at the Wiremill Water Ski Club
You can find links to other pages on this site at the bottom of the page.

During the Winter season, from 1 October to 31 March, we make
available a number of Winter Skier Memberships.
These enable keen skiers to continue through the Winter when
their usual location may be unavailable.

Existing Members run the ski days with the small number of
Winter skiers. Weather permitting, skiing takes place on Sundays
and usually Saturdays and occasionally, Wednesdays or Fridays.

Visitors are welcome to ski; Visitors ski in their order of arrival
as part of a skiing rota scheme. For Visitors the Towing Fee is £14.00.
Skis and Lifejackets are provided and Wet Suits are available.
During the Winter months, when skiing time is limited, a Winter
Membership is most reliable in ensuring skiing availability.

The Winter Membership is at a reduced Fee of £140 to our
Annual Subscription. The Club is affiliated to the British Water
Ski Federation and Winter Members must participate in the BWSF
Subscription and Accident Insurance.
If Annual Membership vacancies are available in the new year,
Winter Members may be invited to transfer and continue their
Membership on an Annual basis.

Members and Visitors use a Name Board rota scheme,
on which they place their name upon arrival, and each person
skis in turn. The Tow sessions consist of ten minutes free format skiing,
Kneeboarding or Trick skiing, six passes through the Slalom course or
six ski Jumps. The current Towing Fee for Members is £6.00.

If you are interested in Membership availability please contact the
Membership Secretary, Mr. B North

Alternatively, come along to the Lake where Club
Members there will be able to tell you more about participating in
the skiing, or arranging events.
